    Joe started working at M&V in 1997.He started out pulling orders to get to know every aspect of the business. Now Joe is in charge of M&V's shipping & receiving department, carefully checking every item going on or coming off the delivery trucks. He interacts with the salesmen and coordinates with the trucking companies to insure an orderly and efficient incoming delivery system. Joe is also responsible for supervising the inventory control system and the work force. As a General Manager, he is also responsible for helping to solve all of the companies' various problems.

    Before coming to M&V, Joe owned and operated his own car wash business for 10 years. In that capacity he managed approximately 30 people, did purchasing, selling and dealt with both retail and wholesale customers. In addition, he had to deal with all the various problems that constantly come up in a small and thriving business. This background was excellent training for the problems & challenges he faces at M&V.

    He feels much of M&V's success is the result of having a strong "front-line" management team. His outlook for the future is to maintain M&V's status as one of the major contributors to the food industry.

    Joe is an avid boater and offshore fisherman. He is a licensed U.S. Coast Guard Captain holding a 50-ton master's offshore license. Joe is married to Lori and together they have two daughters Jessica and Leah.
